Who We Are

Christian Library International exists to glorify God by providing books, Bibles and other Christian resources to adult and youth inmates for the purpose of turning their hearts to Him through Jesus Christ in love and faithful service. Today, Christian Library International distributes Christian books, free of charge, to over 900 US prisons, jails and youth detention centers.

Our Vision

Types Of Activity

CLI distributes Christian books, Bibles, and other Christian materials to Prisons through the chaplain. We also have our CLI Leadership Bible study with several hundred inmates participating.

About Our Prison Ministry

We are financed by churches, monthly ministry partners, several foundations and an annual author-dinner. Our guest speakers have been Pat Robertson, Elisabeth Elliot, Evelyn Christenson, Gary Chapman, fiction author Davis Bunn and prison ministry expert Lennie Spitale.
