Who We Are We believe that Salvation is the answer to inmate rehabilitation. It is our desire to not only go into the prisons and minister to the inmates; but provide assistance and support to ex-offenders after they are released.
Our Vision Working Together We Can Bring About A Solution, we can stimulate economic growth in the community, address the problem of active addiction, improve the employability of the disadvantaged and impoverished as we strive to reduce recidivism.
Types Of Activity SITA is planning a Mobile Computer Community serving the Dallas/Fort Worth area. We need funds to pay for our small building as a office/warehouse. We will provide computer classes for anyone willing to make the effort to change. The classes will include basic, advanced computer classes, and resume classes. We want to build self-esteem and advance employability in the clients. Classes will remain free as long as we can provide funding and volunteers.
Location At this time we physically minister to inmates in the state of Texas. We are mentors in the SVORI program (Serious and Violent Offender Reentry Initiative). We go into the jails, prisons and rehabilitation facilities. We also assist with classes at the Dallas District Resource Center Parole Office.
Our magazine (newsletter)
I send out a Prayer Servant on a regular basis to anyone interested. Just email us to get on the mailing list.
About Our Prison Ministry We are willing to provide information to anyone in need whenever and wherever possible.
Support In We are in need funding for our small building and to purchase six laptops to fulfill our plan. Pray for building funds to be donated or the funding to emerge. We are currently writing letters to foundations and organizations. Pray some funding comes through. Pray for the SVORI program participants. We mentor these individuals.
