Who We Are

We are a group of volunteers that go into Vermont prisons to teach bible studies and do one on one mentoring support. We work with the inmates on the inside and also once released. If needed we will also work with the families. Angel Tree is one of the ways we help the families. Harvest Prison MInistry has been doing this for approximately 18 years.

Our Vision

We want to share the love of Christ and His transforming power with every inmate and see them delivered from the kingdom of darkness into His marvelous light.
He has sent me to bind up the brokenhearted,
to proclaim freedom for the captives
and release from darkness for the prisoners

Types Of Activity

Bible studies; Angel Tree; aftercare; community support

Location

Vermont mostly, but also Kentucky where some Vermont inmates are housed.

About Our Prison Ministry

I am involved with a prison ministry in Bennington, Vermont. There are about 10 other volunteers in this ministry. My husband and I have been involved for 13 years, and have worked with hundreds of men.
