I have recently started a prison mininstry for my my church, the First United Pentecostal Church of Euless and I was on the web looking for others with the same burden that I have. Excitement pulsed through me when I saw the first word of your site,"International".You see,I have the vision that my church not merely have a ministry but a "movement" that will shake the foundation of the entire national prision system.I thought,"Here's an International source for God's church to pug into and reach lost souls",then I read your Statement of Faith.I'll remind you of the beginning of it,"We believe in one God,eternally existing in three persons-Father,Son,Holy Spirit,who are of one substance and equal in person and glory.We believe that Jesus Christ;the second person in the trinity was both fully man and fully God".As Jesus said in Mark 12:34,"You are not far from the kingdom of God".With all due respect Sir or Mam'm but Jesus Christ is second to none! He is the first and the last,the alpha and omega,the ONE who sits on THE throne,He is the name above all names, Salvation is found in no one elese, for there is no other name by which we must be saved!!In the passage of scripture in Mark 12:28-34, Jesus told us that the greatest commandment ever is Dt 6:4,"The Lord our God the Lord,the Lord is ONE",not three but ONE! After reading your statement, I still tried to join in but when I clicked on "not agree" the system kicked me out. I'm guessing that if no one agrees to swallow your fabricated man made doctrine of the three headed monster, then we are not welcomed. Hello,
I am very interested in prison ministries, what do I need to do to get involved in a prison ministry? I feel that I am being led in this direction and would love any and all help I can get. The church my family attends has a soul winning group that goes out into our community and every time a soul is saved for Jesus Christ it sets me and my heart on fire for Him and makes me want to do more for God.
