Who We Are

Christian Prison Ministries helps prisoners build new character and faith with intense individual mentoring as well as group education. We have been successful for over 12 years. In August of 2007 we expanded our programs to include a full time faith based wing at the George Beto Unit. We measure success by massively lower disciplinary problems, which are good indicators of changed lives, resulting in a lower recidivism.

Our Vision

The huge success our program leads us to propose four more wings in 2008 which will serve and addition 800 inmates. We also intend to open a retreat center for volunteer training and assisting troubled youth.

Types Of Activity

Establish faith based wings that provide programs, mentors, and character building. Work with troubled youth on weekend retreats to help keep them out of the prison system. Continue the relationship established in prison to assist the newly released individual, build a productive live on the outside.

Changed hearts mean changed lives. It takes time to build character and we are there day in and day out for 18 months helping men recover their purpose in the Kingdom of God.
