Who We Are

Red Letter Ministries is a private Christ-centered Prison and Jail Correspondence Bible Study Ministry. Red Letter Ministries provides Correspondence Bible Studies to Alabama Prison and Jail Residents at their request, or upon their enrollment by another facility resident. Red Letter Ministries has been ministering in Alabama Prisons and Jails since May 1998.

Our Vision

Providing simple topical bible studies to help others to grow in their knowledge of the word and personal relationship with Jesus. Ministering through bible study to the spiritual needs, and encouraging faith in action serving right where they are. Experiencing the blessings of souls saved. Watching growth of committed lives.

Types Of Activity

One on One bible study ministry; Ministry Fundraisers; Occasional Participation at annual Alabama Department of Corrections Prison Ministry Conference; Prayer Support for Participating Residents. Encourage Prison Ministry Certification through Prison Fellowship Programs for In Prison Ministry, Mentoring, Aftercare, etc.

Location

Our Correspondence Ministry is now being sent into many Alabama Prison Facilities and a few Jails across our state. Our ministry focus is in the state of Alabama, but we do not turn away enrollments that are sent to us from other State Correctional Facilities in the United States.

About Our Prison Ministry

Red Letter Ministries is 100% non-profit. Not 501c3. Not tax deductible. We seek funding for ministry needs through gifts from those interested in our work. Individuals, corporations,churches, organizations, etc. We currently receive this funding through cash gifts, and donations of material supplies which are needed on an ongoing basis. See our most urgent needs below.
