Who We Are The Woman's Roots is a State of Texas register 501 (c) (3) non-profit organization. A Re-entry Aftercare Prison Ministry Program designed "to Assist and Provide Post Released Female inmates with Resources for Transitional Housing Referrals; Rehabilitation and Recovery Counseling, along with Spiritual Mentoring". We work closely with Local and State government agencies, along with National prison ministries to ensure the highest transitional sucess rate.
Our Vision Our Vision is to work directly one-on-one with offenders being released out of prison placing them into a transitional housing facilities that fits their needs the best. What is important about TWR's Ministry is that we stay in touch with our residents weekly for up to a full year to ensure the fullest success rate as they transition back into society.
Types Of Activity Weekly counseling, Relapse Prevention, Anger Management, Group fusion sessions, monthly gatherings.
Location Mentor in woman's prisons in Dayton, Texas. Teach "Relapse Prevention" in woman's prisons.
About Our Prison Ministry We go inside woman's prisons 6 months prior to there parole release and start the mentoring process. We do client assessments, personality profiles, mental evaluations, counseling needs.
Support In Hygiene kits, woman's clothing, financial assistance.
